So after 16 trips to my happy place and becoming an unofficial Disneyland adviser to my friends and work colleagues, I decided to take the plunge and start a Disneyland Paris related blog.
I am a 41 year old, Disney loving Wife, Mum to 3 children and Nanny to 3 little girls. I also have 3 step-children and 2 step-grandchildren.
I am quite sure that on my own I would be nowhere near exciting enough to keep people interested in this blog, but I have a little chipmunk to have adventures with. She has already become a mini celebrity on some of the Disneyland facebook pages, and with some of the Cast Members at Disneyland thanks to her hilarious antics. I’ve been advised that it is best not to share the girls real names online so she will be known as ‘Chip’ due to her massive love for Chip and Dale. I first took Chip to Disneyland Paris, with my husband and step-daughter, at 18 months old. Everyone told me she was too young to go and I am so glad I didn’t listen as she completely stole the show! Our little Chip is now 3 and has been to Disneyland Paris 4 times and is excitedly waiting for her 5th trip in December.

Now you might wonder why I have said that I have 3 grandchildren but have only talked about my adventures with one of them, this is because the other 2 are babies. Chip has a baby sister who because of her dress, I will call ‘Tink’, however there is nothing tiny and fairy-like about her. Tink is the chunkiest, most scrumptious little smiley princess ever and has already had her first visit to Disneyland Paris when we went in May.

Last but not least is my youngest Grandaughter. Her Mummy is crazy about the Lion King so she will have to be known as Nala. Although Nala hasn’t officially been to Disneyland Paris yet, her Mummy and Daddy came with us and Chip last September and Nala was born in June – do the maths 😉

When i’m not playing princesses with the girls, I work as a support worker for people with learning difficulties. I have been fortunate enough to make 3 visits to Disneyland Paris with work, taking groups of our clients. I plan to do a few posts on travelling with people with special needs and am happy to help if anyone needs any support in this area.
Anyway, my aim is to share lots of stories, trip reports, give tips and help with any questions anyone may have so please share and enjoy.
