Trip report day 3

Spread the love

We met our friends in the foyer of the Disneyland Hotel in time for the parks opening and headed in for a full day.

Firstly we took photos under the Christmas tree and then headed into fantasyland to do some rides. The parks seemed fairly quiet and before long we had been on the carousel, teacups, Small World, Storybook boats and Casey Junior.

My friend works at the parks and managed to get us some amazing Pixie Dust – an appointment to meet Rapunzel without queuing!

Rapunzel is Chip’s favourite princess, but as she is not very good a queuing, we don’t usually go to the Princess Pavillion. The interaction was priceless, I really can’t put into words how lovely it was, but this photo speaks for itself!

Before going to our Rapunzel slot, we managed to find a spot, against the ropes near the Castle Stage, to watch the Christmas Parade and then the Merry Stitchmas show. Again, we had amazing interaction and all the characters came for Hi-5’s and cuddles.

In the afternoon we walked across to watch the Frozen show in the Chaparal Theatre, we were quite late arriving so didn’t get great seats, but the girls loved it.

My friend then had to leave to nip home with her oldest child and left her little one with me to watch the parade from the Infinity area (under 3’s can enter with a pass holder). The interaction we received was crazy, almost every character waved, blew kisses or came over 😍

<<<<<<<<<< arade, we headed to the Disneyland Hotel where we had a reservation for Inventions. I love this restaurant! We had such a great time and met our favourite chipmunks there. The staff loved the girls costumes so much that we were given a Pixie Dust voucher to go and choose some keyrings for free. <<<<<<<<<< s is a premium level restaurant and costs 65 euros per adult and 35 euros for children. It is a buffet restaurant and has a good selection, especially the amazing desserts! <<<<<<<<<< e evening by watching the Illuminations show from the windows. It was really magical, a very special moment. <<<<<<<<<< s day might just have been one of my best days ever!
