I often see posts on the different Facebook pages and Disneyland forums from people asking where the nearest shops and supermarkets are. It may just be to buy snacks and drinks, or other items such as nappies, baby food and even pushchairs.
The closest shops to the parks are in the Marne La Vallee train station. There are two Relay shops selling a variety of sandwiches, drinks, alcohol, toiletries and souvenirs.
Outside the Santa Fe hotel is an Esso garage with a selection of drinks, snacks and essentials.
By far the biggest is Auchan the supermarket at Val D’Europe. It is enormous and reasonably priced.
To get there it is only one stop on the train. It is very reasonably priced and very easy to find. We timed it and was surprised that it only took about 3 minutes between stops.
Auchan has everything you could possibly need including baby essentials, pushchairs, clothes, phone chargers, toys and of course, food.
I have been to Disneyland Paris many times but had never visited Val D’Europe before for various reasons, the main ones being, not wanting to drag myself away from the parks and thinking it would be difficult to get there. Now I have been and know how easy it is, I will definitely visit again in future trip.Tags: budget, disneyland paris, supermarkets shops
